Using A 4x5 Camera To Shoot Macro Video

Experimenting with older equipment is often the best way to learn how image making works.

Having a vast background film photography has often taught us new techniques when it comes to film making. Experimenting with the Sinar 4x5 Sinar Monorail system was a great way to get good looking macro footage and interesting portraits but is rather cumbersome to use as a primary lensing solution. With that said we’d still like to shoot a purpose driven project with the system one day, leaning into the rise, fall and shift characteristics of the setup to create something new and fresh.
